Bullitt
Bullitt, un lieutenant de police, est chargé par un politicien ambitieux de protéger Johnny Ross, un gangster dont le témoignage est capital dans un procès où est impliqué l'homme politique. Malgré les précautions prises par Bullitt et ses hommes, Ross est grièvement blessé, puis achevé sur son lit d'hôpital. Bullitt s'aperçoit alors que la victime n'était pas le vrai Ross.
