Charlotte
Berlin, années 30. Charlotte Salomon est une jeune fille de bonne famille, frondeuse. Lors d’un voyage à Rome, elle visite la chapelle Sixtine et découvre le plafond de Michel-Ange. C’est une épiphanie, elle veut devenir artiste-peintre. Elle passe le concours et est reçu à l’Académie des Beaux Arts de Berlin. Face à la montée du nazisme, elle se réfugie à Villefranche-sur-Mer. L’art s'impose comme le seul moyen d'échapper à son destin tragique. Il la sauve en réalité de ses démons intérieurs et d’une tragédie familiale.
