Darkhan, a young scientist, returns home, where he has not been for seven years. His girlfriend Elena comes with him. The eldest member of the family - Darkhan's grandfather Sagat - invites his grandson and his girlfriend on a trip to their native places, lost in the infinity of the steppe.
