La poursuite
Rick regarde, impuissant, son puissant père, Wells, assassiner sa mère et s'en tirer. Trente ans plus tard, il complote sa vengeance avec Cathy qui est maintenant mariée à Wells mais qui est aussi l'amante de Rick. Le complot se retourne contre lui lorsque Wells est soudainement victime d'un attentat à la voiture piégée. La police découvre que Cathy et Rick étaient amants.
