Al Percolo, chargé de recruter de nouveaux talents dans le milieu du base-ball, n'a plus la côte. Quand il part au Mexique et qu'il découvre un jeune homme très doué pour le lancer de balle, il n'hésite pas une seconde : il l'engage.
