Lorsque l'assistante sociale Shu-fen découvre que sa fille adolescente enceinte, Ya-ting, a disparu, sa recherche de Ya-ting la met fin à de nombreux mystères horribles... Rencontre avec la mystérieuse Mei-hua qui emprisonne sa propre fille dans sa maison couverte de papiers écrits avec et rencontrant Yi-chun, disparue et enceinte, dans un hôpital abandonné, le trio retourne dans la Forêt Rouge pour sauver Ya-ting et Shu-fen se rend enfin compte que la peur la plus profonde naît de l'amour...
