Jennifer, une australienne qui fuit un sinistre passé, travaille comme fille au pair à Amsterdam. Pour échapper aux autorités, elle rejoint un groupe de touristes qui partent en bus visiter les célèbres moulins à vent néerlandais. Quelque part dans le polder abandonné, le bus tombe en panne.
