Deux malfrats un peu fêlés - Parker et Longbaugh - vivent au jour le jour de casses mineurs. Lorsqu'ils entendent parler des Chidduck, un couple richissime qui s'apprête à verser 1 million de dollars à la mère porteuse de leur futur bébé, ils n'hésitent pas et kidnappent la jeune femme pour demander une rançon.
