Special Treatment
Jerry Butler gives a powerful performance in the role of a tormented man who is about to testify against a sinister criminal. The criminal has vowed to do whatever it takes to make sure that Butler does not take the witness stand, so Butler is placed into protective custody at a secret location. Butler is certain that he will be double crossed by someone on the inside. Is the traitor one of the cops who is assigned to protect him? Is it the promiscuous D.A. herself? Or is there someone lurking outside the luxurious hiding place, waiting for an opportunity?
